things that are unnecessary
- when people present and say, “I won’t go into too much detail” and then go into a bunch of detail. I’ll call this one MIT syndrome.
- reading every word from a powerpoint slide. your first mistake was using all text. give me a pretty picture to look at and tell me a story.
- expensive wedding invitations. no one saves these. order two or three for your scrap-bookers and then make your own damn invitations or use the internet. you can still be classy and use the internet, it just takes effort. effort beats $$ every day of the week.
- making cheat sheets double sided in 4 point font. you won’t need this stuff and no its not helping you study, regardless of what you say. write down the 5-10 things you might forget and then actually study the rest - youll be fine.
